About Howie

Howie has more than 20 years of experience with the Mac , and almost as much with Windows.  He has worked in I.T. for over 10 years, which includes over 4 years working as a Mac Genius at the Apple Store at Willow Bend.  Over the years, Howie has also became an expert in Kerio Connect, a popular email platform, and Exchange alternative.  He really shines when he is able to work with people face to face, and enjoys teaching others how to get the most out of their computers… Even PCs.  Howie also worked at CompUSA’s corporate headquarters, and a commercial printing company.  He has a passion for technology, and likes to find the simplest, most elegant technology solutions. Howie works with Kinetic Technology Group in Dallas, TX serving businesses in Dallas/Fort Worth, and surrounding areas.

Howie started life in Lubbock, TX.  He spent most of his life in Lubbock, but he also lived in Modesto, CA for part of his early childhood.  He moved to Dallas in September, 2000.  Howie attended Texas Tech University where he majored in Political Science.  Prior to college, he served in the U.S. Navy onboard a submarine, the U.S.S. Albany, as an electronics technician on the navigation team.  Howie wanted to eventually become an attorney, but instead, turned to computers as his chosen career.  Howie dabbles a lot in Photoshop, and maintains a personal blog.  He loves politics and history, and frequently daydreams about one day becoming President .  Howie recently began a hobby in photography and is currently looking for others who are also interested in photography so that he can learn from them.
