Palm Pre users suffer cloud computing data loss — RoughlyDrafted Magazine.

Daniel Eran Dilger, the writer of RoughlyDrafted Magazine always has an interesting, and well informed take on technology issues.  This article in particular helps shine a light on the flawed implementation of cloud computing that has been put in place by Palm, Microsoft, and other companies.  Apple’s implementation of cloud computing (Mobile Me), still allows for the user to access their data even if the service has failed.  It’s disappointing that other players in the cloud computing game don’t seem to be focused on the user experience as much as their profits.
